Dr. Miller was born in Gadsden, grew up in Oneonta, and graduated from Oneonta High School in 1970. After high school, Dr. Miller attended the University of Alabama where he was a 2nd generation Alabama football player. He had the privilege of playing under Coach “Bear” Bryant from 1970 to 1973.

Dr. Miller is married to Vickie Vinson Miller, and they have two sons and five wonderful grandchildren. Both their sons followed in their father’s footsteps and are graduates of the University of Alabama. While they were students there, Marc and Matt both played football and took the athletic tradition of the Miller family into the 3rd consecutive generation.

After graduating from the University of Alabama, Dr. Miller attended UAB’s School of Dentistry and graduated in 1978. Following graduation, he started his general dentistry practice in Rainbow City.  Additionally, he received his “Master of the Academy of General Dentistry” in 1997. This achievement was made possible through his hard work and dedication to hundreds of hours of continuing education classes.

Dr. Miller believes in giving back to his community. He has provided free dental services to those  in need through his church First Baptist Gadsden’s dental clinic. He also provides free services working with the Alabama Dental Association’s – Donated Dental Services Program.
